The Ministry of Heavy Industries has informed that from the financial year 2019-20 to the financial year 2022-23, the company took the charger in the name of the charger from the buyers of the OLA S1 Pro model and Ola will return this payment.

The ministry had also received a complaint about this, which was found correct in the investigation. After this, the ministry has taken action against Ola.

Following the Ministry of Heavy Industries’ strictness, Ola Electric made a quick decision. Before the ministry takes any action, the company has already informed it that it will pay Rs 130 crores taken from customers in the name of the charger.
At the same time, the company has not stated when or how long it will take to make this payment. In addition, Okinawa and Hero Electric were found guilty in another case by the ministry.
