6 Google Products shut down in 2023 list.
From time to time, Google brings new products to the users and keeps the users in mind in order to remove any small shortcomings that people may have. Google is a very large technology company. In such cases, many people find their products useful and use them openly, but many of Google’s products are excellent, but they are not able to attract as many people as others.
Since very few people use those products, Google has to shut them down or combine them with other products, as we saw with Google Duo and Meet last year, It has been only 4 months since 2023, and in such a situation, Google is going to stop the service or can say the products, As we will see in this article, Google will be discontinuing many of its products this year, i.e. in 2023.

Google Stadia
The first service Google closed this year was Google Stadia. Google Stadia’s cloud gaming service was launched a few years ago, about 2 years ago. However, it was officially closed on January 18, 2023, this year.
He said in his blog that he did not receive the user base he wanted from this service. He could not connect his product with users, so he stopped the service. Or could not attract its users from the beginning and now many companies are entering cloud gaming. Sony PlayStation is also planning to get into cloud gaming, making it more difficult for Google to provide stadium service. This forced him to stop offering it.
Stadia’s vice president Phil Harrison said in a blog post that Stadia also launched a consumer gaming service. “And while Stadia’s approach to streaming games for consumers was built on a strong technology foundation, it hasn’t gained the traction with users that we expected. We have made the difficult decision to wind down our Stadia streaming service.”

Google OnHub
The second Google service which is shut down this year is Google OnHub which was a wireless router powered by Google software, managed by Google apps and offered special features like Google Assistant. It was sold in two versions, manufactured by TP-Link or Asus.
Google released a router called OnHub that was built for all the ways you use Wi-Fi. In 2021, Google announced that the routers would no longer receive any software updates, and in 2023, they rendered the product almost completely useless by disabling so many of its features.
Google Jacquard
Last month Google kill one more service, Jacquard, Jacquard introduced a small tag that could be embedded into clothing and paired with a smartphone. It allowed people to customize certain actions on their phones without touching them. For example, a double-tap could play/pause music, brushing the fabric could change tracks, and covering the sensor would mute/unmute notifications.
Jacquard was first unveiled in 2015 by Google, the company’s Advanced Technology and Projects group, responsible for Soli. It debuted on special Levi’s jackets and was also included by Samsonite and YSL in their backpacks and Adidas in a smart insole for soccer players.

Google Current
Google Current is a social media feature that looks a like a Google+ service it gives similar features to Google+ if you are a workspace user this service is shutter down a couple of weeks ago, this service launched in July 2020 after a Google+ shutdown.
The decision was made by Google so that users would not have to work in a “separate, siloed destination.” Instead, they will make use of Chat and Spaces, which are now prominently integrated into Gmail.
Google Street View
Google street view app which helps us to see to view the 360° view was available on iOS and Android too was shut down too less than a month ago, however, its functionality will available on Google Maps and the Street View Studio.
