WhatsApp introduces new features from time to time and this time WhatsApp introduced a new feature called WhatsApp communities, so many WhatsApp users have a curiosity to know this feature, users think this is a WhatsApp group-like feature, but there are so many differences from WhatsApp group feature.
now users can share their thoughts with thousands of people, so what is the difference between WhatsApp’s new feature with the old WhatsApp group feature let’s talk about this.
WhatsApp Communities vs Group
Whatsapp Group:
In the WhatsApp group, you can add your teammates, and people you want to talk to for any event or any subject, you can add your 512 participants and chat with them, where admin has so many options to customize or change the group settings like add new participants, eliminate someone, etc, and there are some Whatsapp features leaks and reports which said WhatsApp soon increase the participants limit 512 to 1024.
Whatsapp Communities:
Let’s talk about the new WhatsApp feature called WhatsApp communities where you got some more features when you compare with the WhatsApp groups, basically, the community is a group of groups that is helpful for the organizations like schools and corporate companies where so many people connect with a single option like community, Once you’re in a community, you can easily switch between available groups to get the information you need when you need it, and admins can send important updates to everyone in the Community.

Other New Features:
Not only WhatsApp community there were so many new features WhatsApp introduced this time like the ability to create in-chat polls, 32-person video calls, and groups with up to 1024 users. Just like emoji reactions, more considerable file sharing, and admin deletion, these features can be used in any group. Still, they will be beneficial for Communities and my personal favorite feature is a Larger file sharing of up to 2GB.
